Mercury Revolution 4 Propeller

Mercury Revolution 4 Propeller

Easier. Faster. Smoother. More Efficient. The Mercury Revolution 4 propeller is the do-it-all stainless steel 4-blade propeller of the Mercury propeller lineup. The Revolution 4 propeller is best known for its' aggressive rake which allows the propeller to hold the water and create more thrust. These features are very similar to that of the Mercury Tempest Plus propeller, but with the addition of a fourth blade.

The Revolution 4 propeller has an exceptional hole-shot and the ability to plane off at lower speeds. Performance like this makes the Revolution 4 propeller the ideal propeller for watersports like skiing or tubing. It also comes in handy when trying to accelerate onto plane in shallower waters. A key component of the hole-shot is the longer straight barrel of the Revolution 4 propeller. The longer barrel helps with the perceived stern lift in many heavy weight boat applications.

Another important feature of the Revolution 4 propeller is the wide 14.6" blade diameter. This helps the propeller stay hooked up in rough open waters, and when making sharp turns for watersports. Staying hooked up is the key to operating without blowouts and staying in the throttle and maximizing fuel efficiency.

The Mercury Revolution 4 propeller is an incredibly versatile propeller for a wide range of applications including; aluminum fish, bowrider, fish-n-ski, inshore fishing, multi-species, offshore fishing, pontoons/tritoons, ski boat, and sport boats. The Revolution 4 propeller has become the go-to propeller for many multi-engine applications, and pairs well with stepped hulls.

The Revolution 4 propeller also features Mercury's Performance Vent System (PVS). This allows for exhaust to aerate the water around the blades. Which it turn, makes it easier to for the larger diameter of the Revolution 4 propeller to turn up quickly. Once the propeller has spun up, gripped the water, and began to accelerate the PVS holes essentially "close off" and the exhaust begins to flow strictly through the hub of the propeller.
