Mercury Bravo 1 XS Pro Finished Propeller
The Mercury Racing Pro Finish Bravo I® XS outboard propeller offers excellent time-to-plane performance, strong mid-range punch, and awesome top-end speed for bass, flats, cat flats, and performance center-console bay boats. The dual Mercury Performance Vent System® (PVS®) holes enable the operator to fine tune the amount of venting needed for quick planing. The stainless steel prop, designed for use on Mercury V6 OptiMax, OptiMax XS and OptiMax Pro XS outboards, features four robust blades and a tuned exhaust tube. The shortened exhaust tube provides greater top-end speed, while minimizing stern lift for improved boat handling and performance.
Half-inch pitch models enable operators to precision tune performance-oriented bass boats and center consoles for maximum power and efficiency. And, for some applications, the half-inch pitch will offer additional bow lift for enhanced top speed as well.
- Hub kit is sold separately. Please see the fitment information provided to select the correct hub kit for your application.
- Enabled with 8-hole Performance Vent System (PVS) to allow optimal hole-shot customization.
Important Note:
- According to the Mercury propeller guide handbook if running a 3-blade propeller move up 1" of pitch to maintain similar RPMs.
- OR if replacing the Fury, Revolution 4 or a standard Bravo I propeller move up 2" of pitch to maintain similar RPMS.

The "XS Factor": Mercury Racing Bravo 1 XS Propeller.
Experience the difference that true craftsmanship makes: the Mercury Bravo One XS Propeller is pro‑finished by Mercury Racing artisans, who thin the blade leading edges, blueprint cup heights, and hand zero‑balance each unit to deliver an ultra‑smooth, vibration‑free ride every time. Its four robust stainless‑steel blades, paired with a shortened, tuned exhaust tube, channel exhaust low to minimize stern lift and maximize top‑end speed for blistering performance on every run.
Fine‑tune your hole shot with the dual Mercury Performance Vent System® (PVS®) holes behind each blade—eight total—to inject just the right amount of aerated exhaust, reducing load and accelerating you onto plane in record time. Once on plane, the Bravo One XS delivers a powerful mid‑range punch, propelling your vessel through tight turns and choppy water with unwavering confidence.
Designed exclusively for Mercury V6 OptiMax, OptiMax XS, and OptiMax Pro XS outboards, this four‑blade marvel adapts to bass boats, flats skiffs, cat flats, and performance center‑console bay boats alike—ensuring you dominate the leaderboard or arrive on scene well ahead of the competition. Ready out of the box with no additional modifications required, the Bravo One XS is the competitive edge your rig has been missing.
Don’t settle for ordinary—upgrade to the Bravo One XS today and feel the XS Factor beneath your hull.

During the Pro Finish process, the leading edges of the propeller are precisely thinned—though not to the extent of a Lab Finish—while the cup heights are meticulously blueprinted to ensure optimal performance. Each propeller is then carefully zero-balanced by hand, guaranteeing exceptional smoothness and precision.
Pro Finished propellers typically achieve an increase of approximately 200 RPM over stock models. With finely tuned leading edges and precisely engineered cup heights, this finishing process enhances overall performance and efficiency.

Because of the "Pro Finish" blade thinning and zero balancing an adjustment in pitch may be necessary.
It is recommended that to maintain similar engine operating rpm in single engine applications; Switching from a Tempest Plus to the Bravo 1 XS would require a 1-inch increase in pitch. A switch from the Fury and Revolution 4 to the Bravo 1 XS would require a 1.5-inch increase in pitch.

The Mercury Bravo 1 XS propeller is ideal for my Ranger Boat. With my 250 HP Pro XS and all the vent holes open it jumps on plane.

Running the Bravo 1 XS propeller on my Bass Cat I gained 4 MPH and the handling is much better. Thank you.

The stability and hole-shot of the Bravo One XS propeller is perfect. Even when tournament loaded the hole-shot is great. This has been the best prop for my Triton bass boat.
