Description

Mercury Marine Bravo 1 Propeller

Designed for outboard and sterndrive applications, the Mercury Racing Bravo 1 FS propeller delivers unmatched time-to-plane performance, mid-range punch, mid-range cruise and top-end speeds for outboard bass, flats, cat flats, bay boats, offshore center consoles and sterndrive deck and vee bottoms under medium to heavy load. The tuned exhaust tube minimizes stern lift for enhanced bow lift, handling and overall boat performance.

  • Hub kit is sold separately. Please see the fitment information provided to select the correct hub kit for your application.
  • Enabled with 4-hole Performance Vent System (PVS) to allow optimal hole-shot customization.
  • Get that extra performance with a pro-finish. Leading edges are thinned, cup heights are blueprinted, and every blade is zero balanced by hand.

Important Note:

  • According to the Mercury propeller guide handbook if running a 3-blade propeller move up 1" of pitch to maintain similar RPMs.
  • OR if replacing the Fury, Revolution 4 or a standard Bravo I propeller move up 2" of pitch to maintain similar RPMS.

Your Boat’s Best Upgrade: The Mercury Bravo 1 FS

Experience a game-changing upgrade with the Mercury Bravo 1 FS propeller. Favored by tournament fishermen, this high-performance prop is designed with a short barrel for superior bow lift and wedged blades that cut through water for an ultra-smooth ride—even in rough conditions. Hand-finished by Mercury’s expert artisans to optimize RPM and increase top-end speed by 1-3 mph, the Bravo 1 FS delivers unmatched time-to-plane performance and efficiency.

Whether you’re running an outboard bass boat, flats or cat flats boat, bay boat, offshore center console, or a sterndrive deck or vee bottom under medium to heavy load, this prop is built to maximize your boat’s potential on every adventure.

What is Pro Finish?

During the Pro Finish process, the leading edges of the propeller are precisely thinned—though not to the extent of a Lab Finish—while the cup heights are meticulously blueprinted to ensure optimal performance. Each propeller is then carefully zero-balanced by hand, guaranteeing exceptional smoothness and precision.

Pro Finished propellers typically achieve an increase of approximately 200 RPM over stock models. With finely tuned leading edges and precisely engineered cup heights, this finishing process enhances overall performance and efficiency.

Pitch Selection

Because of the "Pro Finish" blade thinning and zero balancing an adjustment in pitch may be necessary.

It is recommended that to maintain similar engine operating rpm in single engine applications; Switching from a Tempest Plus to the Bravo 1 FS would require a 1-inch increase in pitch. A switch from the Fury and Revolution 4 to the Bravo 1 FS would require a 1.5-inch increase in pitch.

Testimonials

Luis C.

Mercury Bravo 1 FS Propeller Boston Whaler Outrage

Using the Mercury Bravo 1 FS propellers on my with triple 300HP outboards and it works great. Much better fuel economy and top speed over the Revolution 4 propellers I ran previously.

Grady H.

Mercury Bravo 1 FS Propeller

I replaced my Fury propeller with the Bravo 1 FS propeller and the improvement was great. It has much better handling I would assume because of the width of the propeller.

Thomas H.

Bravo 1 FS Sea Ray SLX 280

There were lots of people talking about the Bravo 1 FS props on their outboards. I installed it on my sterndrive Sea Ray SLX 280 and it is night and day difference compared to the Mirage Plus.

Mercury Bravo 1 FS Propeller

My buddy let me try his Bravo 1 FS and it was awesome, so I bought one myself. The performance is great, I just wish I went about a half-pitch lower.

Lance G.

Grady-White Canyon w/ Bravo 1 FS Propeller

The handling of the Bravo 1 FS propeller is amazing! The boat gets much better fuel mileage and a couple more MPH too.

John O.

Mercury Bravo 1 FS Propeller

Switched to the Bravo 1 FS from my Tempest Plus propeller on my Skeeter FXR21. I gained 5 MPH and it jumps out of the water. Even when tournament loaded it still moves.

JJ. B.

Mercury Bravo 1 FS Propeller

I got the Bravo 1 FS on a tip from a friend at a Bass tournament. Couldn't be happier with the choice but it did throw a blade, full covered by Mercury warranty though. Matt helped me get a replacement. Thank you!
