For good overall performance and value, the Black Max is your prop. Black Max aluminum propellers are standard equipment on most boats with Mercury/MerCruiser power. The Mercury Black Max propeller is recommended for use on boats with up to 250 HP and a with a top speed of less than 50 MPH.
- Equipped with Flo-Torq SSR Hub Kit for reduced vibration. SSR technology provides 22-23% peak noise improvement at shifting events, both neutral-forward and neutral-reverse, virtually eliminating shift clunk.
- Black Max propeller has a "Phantom Black" high-gloss durable finish that is easy to maintain and repair.
- Mercury leaves nothing up to chance when casting Black Max propellers. Made from patented Mercalloy material, which is designed specifically for the casting process to produce props that are tough, yet ductile enough to handle minor impacts.
