Bravo 1 XC Pro Finished (15 1/4 x 22") Mercury RH Propeller, 48-8M0100111
Description
The Mercury Racing Pro Finished Bravo I XC Propeller, designed specifically for single outboard powered hulls, features a tremendous amount of blade cup. Ideal for shallow water running Flats Boats. The enhanced cup enables the engine to be run at elevated transom heights – without sacrificing performance. The larger blade area enables the prop to stay hooked up for quick planing and enhanced performance throughout the engine rpm range. The exhaust tube is designed to support planing and stability at lower speeds. The Bravo I XC outperformed many four blade offerings with shorter time to plane, improved grip at lower speeds and quicker throttle response.
- Hub kit is sold separately. Please see the fitment information provided to select the correct hub kit for your application.
- Enabled with 4-hole Performance Vent System (PVS) to allow optimal hole-shot customization.
Important Note:
- According to the Mercury propeller guide handbook the added cup reduces rpm, plan to drop 2" of pitch compared to standard Bravo 1. Also, if running a jack plate consider increased engine height.

Performance Vent System (PVS)
The patented Mercury Performance Vent System (PVS) enables operators to dial in a propeller for peak planing performance. The PVS system works in concert with robust blades that are hand blended by Mercury propeller lab artisans.
30% More Cupping
The Bravo 1 XC features nearly 30% more cupping throughout the trailing edge for increase hole-shot in shallow water.
Full Length Flared Barrel
The Bravo 1 XC features a full length and flared barrel designed to keep the nose down on hole-shot in shallow water.

Non-Mercury Outboards (4.75" Gearcase)
During the Pro Finish process leading edges of the propeller are thinned (not as thin as a Lab Finish), cup heights are blueprinted, and every prop is zero balanced by hand.
Pro Finish propellers typically generate about 200 more RPM compared to stock, and with the fine tuned leading edges and blueprinted cup heights, customers will benefit from much better RPM matching on multi-engine applications.
Due to the nearly 30% additional cupping for shallow water running, it is recommended that a pitch adjustment is made to maintain RPMs.
According to the Mercury propeller guide handbook you should plan to drop 2" of pitch compared to standard Bravo 1. Also, if running a jack plate consider running at an increased engine height.
